Feel like performing at XO (Extrema Outdoor) this weekend…?

Extrema have come up with a fun new DJ concept that will take place at the XO Festival (formerly known as Extrema Outdoor) in the Netherlands on the 14 July. 

Alongside EPM as one of their technical partners, Extrema will select 49 talents for DJ-Roulette.
There will be 7 rounds held with 7 participants each.
A winner will be chosen from each round, who will then fight in the grand finale for the DJ spot at XO Live 2013 and the cool prizes provided by Native Instruments.

On the day of XO, the DJ Roulette tent will be full of clubbers, ravers and party-goers. The contestants in each heat get given a log in code to one of the DJ Roulette Youtube channels to stream their DJ set live from home.

The channel is set to private so only Extrema can pick up the stream. The 7 channels are then controlled by an Extrema / EPM VJ in the DJ Roulette tent and projected onto the huge screen in the tent one at a time until voted out or win.  
The sets will only be able to be seen and heard inside the tent. The crowd will simply vote with their feet. The more they love your DJ set, the longer you get to stay on the decks!

(*All sets are monitored by DJ Monitor which audio fingerprints all the sets for Extrema festival. The tracklists are then sent to Buma Stemra (the Dutch Royalty Society) for notification of the public performances.)
