PROMO TRACKLISTING:

1. GHOST MACHINE (JONTY SKRUFFF’S GOTHIC HORROR REMIX)

2. GHOST IN THE MACHINE (MICHAEL MORPH REMIX)

3. THE SINISTER MACHINE (MUTANT EDIT)

December 2009 saw the now Amsterdam located Advanced Records release their debut artist album ‘The Sinister Sound System’ by Birmingham (UK) based artist, Dare & Haste aka Martin J. Radcliffe.

The album consists of 11 tracks of fine quality UK techno, successfully received across media and clubland partly due to its tough, no-messing tracks, packed with machine noise, eerie synths, perpetual beats & tough tribal percussion that made a refreshing change to harder techno artists toning down their sound for a long-player.  Certainly not the case here!

Now selected tracks from the album get the remix treatment from a host of new, fresh production artists.  The promo presents three of these, from Jonty Skrufff, Michael Morph and Mutant.

Jonty Skrufff from acclaimed sex-drugs-politics & music e-zine Skrufff-E, also spends much of his time travelling the world to spin in places like Europe, China and Brazil.  Last year he turned his hand to music production, teaming up with Judge Jules to co-produce ‘Train Wreck’ as well as providing a very popular solo remix of Motor’s ‘Death Rave’.  His turbo charged Gothic Horror Remix has already received enthusiastic reactions from DJs including Laurent Garnier, DJ Pierre and Sasha alongside radio plays from Judge Jules on his BBC Radio 1 show.

Next up, is Michael Morph’s stomping Ghost In The Machine Remix.  Well known for his genre-busting Breakdown club night at legendary Nottingham venue The Bomb, plus a host of well received productions on the likes of Boombox, Cubic and Pure Mint, including the recent ‘Do What You Want’ featuring Yo! Majesty, Michael Morph shows us why DJ Magazine labelled him one of the four Hottest Names in Dance Music.

The Sinister Machine from British techno newcomer, Mutant, was featured by Dave Clarke on his international White Noise radio show last year, when it got its first spin.  This driving, speaker-buster completes the promo package.

The official release will also feature track remixes from Lowing & Skogehall, Doug Graves and Horizon Blu, as well as a previously unreleased version of Dare & Haste’s ‘Sinister Transmission’, the opening track on his album.
