Amazon launches Cloud Drive & Cloud Player

Amazon launch the Amazon Cloud Drive (www.amazon.com/clouddrive), Amazon Cloud Player for Web (www.amazon.com/cloudplayer) and Amazon Cloud Player for Android (www.amazon.com/cloudplayerandroid), the CloudPlayer is currently only available in the US.  Together, these services enable customers to securely store music in the cloud and play it on any Android phone, Android tablet, Mac or PC, wherever they are. Customers can easily upload their music library to Amazon Cloud Drive and can save any new Amazon MP3 purchases directly to their Amazon Cloud Drive for free.

The launch of Cloud Player and Cloud Drive is intended to solve several customer pain points and provide a true end-to-end solution to drive music sales. Cloud Drive and Cloud Player make it easier for customers to enjoy their music wherever they are. With Cloud Drive and Cloud Player, customers no longer need to use wires and USB drives to move music between devices, worry about exceeding device storage space, worry about losing their music libraries to hard drive crashes, constantly upgrade software, or wait to buy music from their home computers to avoid saving music files to their work computer.
