To close Motor City Electro Company’s 2016 schedule, Detroit's Filthiest returns with the aptly titled ‘Game Over’.
It’s been a great year for Detroit's Filthiest (aka Julian Shamou / DJ Nasty) as he achieves his goal to create a sound that’s unique to others, while drawing influences from a variety of genres. From January’s Techno inspired ‘Detroit vs Everybody’ and February’s ‘Shake It Baby’, the updated Ghetto Tech sound of March’s ‘Layaway’, the D&B tinged ‘Murda Bizzness’ in April, the heavy-hitting ‘Watching You’ which also featured remixes by Sludge king, Marshall Applewhite in May, July’s more experimental ‘Bullet To The Head’, to the soulful and funky ‘Handprint’ (his most recent single released last month) this underground Detroit legend can turn his hand to anything.
Now for his 8th and final single of the year, ‘Game Over’ features 160 BPM's of booming 808's that will rattle speakers on the dance floor, mixed with a Jamaican vocal hook letting you know to drop the bass!
It all makes for a first-rate ending to 2016, and rest assured there’ll be more goodness from this Motor City maestro next year so keep it locked.
