Sync 24 x Truss / Radioactive Man / Jensen Interceptor / Steve Allman
Cultivated Electronics is celebrating 10 years as a label in 2017 with its 20th release ‘Ten Year Electronics’. This is the final chapter in a 5 part collaborative series that has seen CE label head Sync 24 team up with other artists, which have previously included Morphology, The Exaltics, Silicon Scally and DMX Krew.
Launched in 2007, the London based label has been delivering quality Electro and Electro-influenced music from the likes of E.R.P, The Hacker, JTC, Marco Bernardi, Scape One and its own Sync 24 amongst others, gathering a myriad of fans across the DJ fraternity and buying public.
The EP opens with Sync 24 joining Truss who needs little introduction with a score of releases for labels like R&S and Perc Trax as well as XL under new his alias Overmono with brother Tessela. ‘Tri-gate’ is a dark and bass-fuelled beast to set the proceedings in fine style.
Legendary UK maverick and general Electro don, Radioactive Man (Keith Tenniswood / Two Lone Swordsmen) joins Sync 24 on ‘Eliptical’, a squelching and shimmering track that’s laced with electronic funk.
Australia’s Jensen Interceptor who’s most notably made a home on Boyznoise Records collaborates with Sync 24 for the juddering ‘Wave ID’, with its synth flourishes and subterranean depths.
Final track ‘We Animate’ sees Sync 24 hook up with fellow-Londoner Steve Allman, resident at London’s Scand parties and a man who certainly knows a thing or two about Electro! With old-school vox drops and a glittering groove it completes this sterling EP.
