Berlin’s Discrete Circuit delivers his second EP for Mark Broom’s Beard Man label with four new cuts, plus a Broom edit.
The musical identity of Berlin’s Discrete Circuit is shaped by the creative vibrancy of Berlin and the soul of Detroit, as well as the energy of house and techno in its most timeless form. Originally started as a duo in 2012, Discrete Circuit is now a one-man project by Andreas Horn, who also runs the infamous AWAY parties in Berlin as well as the label of the same name.
In early 2015 DVS1 released Discrete Circuit’s first track, ‘Incursion’ on ‘The Brunette’, a compilation EP on Mistress Recordings. Then in June, Delsin Records brought their Inertia sub-arm back to life and released his first full EP, ‘Machine Code’. Later that year, Discrete Circuit was voted No.2 in “Newcomers of the Year” by readers of Germany’s Groove magazine and in January 2016, Beard Man took up the story by releasing his ‘Redial EP’, which strengthened his support from the media, an unending list of Techno DJs and fans alike.
