Tresillo’s ‘Virtual Visions’ is taken from the KMS compilation: Kevin Saunderson presents ‘Origins Movement Detroit 2017’.
Celebrating 30 years of KMS Records, this third compilation in the series is an electronic music paradise that features exceptional productions from gifted artists such as Antwon Faulkner, Will & Held, Eddie Hale and of course Tresillo with their track ‘Virtual Visions’ which we focus on here.
Tresillo first appeared on the scene in the summer of 2016 with their Sueno Latino-esque ‘Contra Tiempo’ limited pressing white label, which gained the support of DJs like Tony Humphries, Terry Farley, Steve Mac and Kevin Saunderson who signed it to KMS for an official release in April 2017, just prior to the release of their more Chicago style remix of ‘Descendants’ by LA’s Esteban Adame on EPMmusic in February.
Their new track, ‘Virtual Visions’ once again shows their mastery over the groove. Its choppy driving beats, atmospheric melody and shimmering cymbals make for a striking slice of tracky techno.
